I’m Madeline Nyman- a small town Oregon girl that packed all her belongings and moved across the pond to pursue nursing in Scotland. I’m a single mum to a little girl and a sweet angel baby- both of whom have been my motivators to chase my dreams. If you peeked into my home you'd probably see toys scattered across the floor, me curled up on the couch (sitting on a pile of unfolded laundry most likely), a pint of Häagen-Dazs in my lap, and a few goat cheese stains on my leggings. I may or may not be jamming to Taylor Swift's reputation because there's always Bridget Jones' Diary when I need a change of scenery- I'm just a girl trying to find her own Mark Darcy.

Just like many other girls, I grew up dreaming about my big day. I imagined a white princess dress, a church, hundreds of friends and family all there to watch me say 'I do'! As I've gotten older, I've discovered that my dream has changed. I've grown to love intimate elopements surrounded by nature's beauty- just me, my partner, my daughter, and a photographer to capture the magic. Plus- I think I'd turn into a major bridezilla if I had to try and plan a wedding. I'm sure Mr. Darcy will thank me later ;-P
